TASCO VALVES UNLIMITED was incorporated in June of 1996 manufacturing the TASCO Flocontrol Valve in Northern California. The TASCO Flocontrol Valve was previously manufactured by The Thomas A. Short Company in Oakland, California, for approximately 16 years from 1980-1996. Prior to that, Dresser Industries manufactured the Flocontrol Valve under the brand name Hancock Valves for 16 years, from 1964 to 1980.

The Flocontrol Valve was manufactured for years under the brand name Hancock and began as Manning Maxwell and Moore in 1935. In 1950, the need for a finer Flocontrol of fluids, steam, and air occurred; thus, the “V” Ported Flocontrol Valve was born.

Today This valve that has been manufactured for over 78 years is still being manufactured with the same quality, manufactured in strict compliance with MSS-SP-80. The main use of the “Flocontrol” Valve is a service known as” Continuous Surface Boiler Blow Down,” also referred to as a skimmer Valve application.
